Passenger Statistics - May 2009
- Edmonton International Airport (EIA) served 488,415 passengers in May 2009, a decrease of 8.5 per cent over May 2008.
- The busiest month ever at EIA was August 2008 with 619,725 passengers (enplaned and deplaned).
- EIA has served 2,527,406 passengers year-to-date (YTD), a decrease of 3.2 per cent over the same period in 2008.
- A record-breaking 6.4 million passengers flew to and from EIA in 2008, an increase of 6.1 per cent over 2006.
- In 2007, international passenger traffic was up an incredible 85 per cent over 2006, with continued solid growth in 2008 of 24 per cent.
