Each of the four airports operated by Edmonton Airports has a special role in general aviation:
- Edmonton City Centre - CYXD is the Alberta Capital Region’s premier airport for general and corporate aviation.
- Cooking Lake - CEZ3 is the only airport in the region that handles both float planes and wheeled aircraft.
- Villeneuve - CZVL is the region’s principal flight-training facility.
- Edmonton International - CYEG is Canada’s global gateway to the North for passenger, cargo and corporate aviation.
