Robert Carwell, FCA

Mr. Carwell is the President of Carwell Financial Corporation Inc., a financial management services practice assisting clients to achieve their business and financial goals. His career encompasses over thirty years of business experience, the majority of which was spent in executive roles. Prior to forming Carwell Financial, he served as Chairman and CEO of the MTE Logistix Group of Companies, an organization that has provided warehousing, distribution and transportation services (now known as the field of "Logistics") since 1926. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Carwell is past Chair of the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, and currently services as a member of the Alberta Blue Cross Board of Directors, and as a Director of the Covenant Health Group. He is also a member of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and has served on many other local organization and industry association Boards. He was a founding member of the Edmonton Airports Business Advisory Committee until his appointment to Edmonton Airports' Board of Directors in January 2007. Mr. Carwell is a resident of Strathcona County.
