2014 – Certificate of Building Excellence – For Central Tower

This program sets the standard in our industry and recognizes excellence in property and facility management.  Certification acknowledges performance quality and the people behind it.

Certification is based on meeting a minimum point score (70%). Buildings must meet standards in building management, operations, environmental/ energy/emergency management, design, tenant and community relations, tenant satisfaction and personnel training. Every building submitted for certification is subject to a building inspection. Certification must be renewed every three years to ensure up-to-date standards of excellence are maintained. Certification is valid for a three year term so long as the property management firm does not change.

2014 – The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) – For Central Tower

Now in its 30th year, the Outstanding Building of the Year “TOBY” Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing quality in office buildings and awarding excellence in office building management. The competition consists of two levels of judging. A building must first win at the local level in this Awards entry year to be eligible to enter the BOMA Canada national awards. Winners of these Canadian national awards may be eligible to compete in the BOMA International awards. During the competition, all facets of a building’s operations are thoroughly evaluated.  Entries are judged on everything from community involvement to environmental and sustainability management. TOBY winners are recognized in specific categories of building size or type.  Judging is based on building standards, community impact, tenant relations, energy conservation, environmental, regulatory and sustainability, emergency preparedness & security standards and the training of building personnel.
